I have worked as a qualified interpreter in the UK since 2009 and hold a DPSI (2010)
I have covered the following services:
-Bedford Probation Service and Magistrates Court
-Luton & Dunstable, Harlow, Milton Keynes and Aylesbury Hospital Trusts
-the Department of Work and Pensions Benefit and Health assessments.
Currently, I am qualifying as an Accounting Technician and have most recently completed AAT Level 2 (Merit) and hold experience in finance and project management.
I have gained hands on experience in legal translation and proofreading of contracts, whilst working for the Primary Logistics Team of Tesco PLC .
I have expanded my medical translation and interpreting background by working for researchers of the University of Bedfordshire and the NHS Blood and Transplant and Midwifery units. During these projects, I was required to recruit focus group participants, carry out the research focus groups as well as translate and transcribe. These tasks were provided for PhD and post-doctorate research projects.
